Its that time of year again.. I don't know where my copies of last year's transcripts are.. so I have yet to do this years. *sigh* I don't have our tuition paid yet.. I don't even have math curriculum.. sort of. (Saxon isn't working for us.)
So what am I doing?
Well, I finally carved my niche of web-ground, and created a one-stop place(URL) for my contact business cards. I was going crazy trying to figure out if I had enough of each card, depending on where I was going.
So.. enough, I said.. and here it is:
Simply Carolina Dreamz
Its the first intersection to our online world.. It links all of our blogs, a narcissistic about me page, for help in my upcoming swaps, and it secretly links to a blog I've started with all of the personal, q&a, blog meme posts from my previous Yahoo! 360 blogs. I'm still tweaking it to have a real link there.
I've been kicking up the design on many of our blogs, too. I'm currently working on FamilyHugz, our very neglected family history site. I'm also setting the children up with their own blogs. I'm not sure if I'll advertise them, here, but we will use them for many schooling projects, this year.
So, back to the purpose of this post..
Before I run over to EdHelper and renew my subscription to all the wonderful helps I use there, for spelling and vocabulary, I found this wonderful post called 100 Essential Web Tools for Homeschoolers, that I wanted to share with you.
I love Donna Young's calendars. I'm trying to get 30boxes to work for me, but I still need print-outs for more personal things that are not net advertisements.
There is always something to learn, here, at Home Sweet Homeschool's "Around the Home" links page.
Well, I'm off. I need to prepare a post of this week's menu, for Field of Dreamz From the Cheap Seatz, too. Oh and The Boy needs to be somewhere in 42 minutes. Ack!

Image by Angela Radulescu via Flickr Pure Agony is what we all felt watching Lolo Jones go down at the end of the 100 meter hurdle.I am starting to really like the cut and dry "win" that comes with the events that do not have subjective judging.
I'm astonished to watch anyone score high after falling down, in gymnastics. It doesn't matter to me who you are.
I really like Shawn Johnson, but I thought that Nastia's routine looked a little more graceful. I don't feel Nastia was as robbed, on the Beam, as she was the other night, though.
As tall as Nastia Liukin looked, I think I read that she is only 5 foot 3 inches tall.
The Olympics are not helping my serious sleep debt. But I just can't help but watch. I giggled, the other night, when the midnight commentary mentioned that the Olympics 3am replay would be brought to us by Ambien. *sigh*
I've never seen the men's routine, Horizontal Bars, before. I was amazed when they fell onto their arms. That really looked painful.
It was nice to not have to hear about Michael Phelps diet, again today. I'd like to share a day with him, just for the sheer amazement I'd feel. I'm thrilled that he eats real food!
What is your favorite Event?
And what exactly is trampolining Discipline? I think I missed that??
Why hasn't Zemanta offered me the Olympic circles, as a graphic, yet? *giggle* I may have to go find it all by myself. I'm such a blog snob, sometimes.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Does it really matter what they THINK about abortion? Does it matter IF they are pro-life? Does pro-choice really mean pro-abortion?
I don't think so.
Our Constitution is what they are to defend.. and it is pro-choice.
Done. Next?
Everyone, that knows me, knows that whether or not I personally would have an abortion has nothing to do with my belief that our Constitution supports a woman's right to choose.
Just because I would not have one, does not mean that I should have a judgment for anyone else's personal situation.
I guess I'd be considered a flip-flopper if I said that I'm both... pro-life and pro-choice.
Everyone will have their judgment and I'm so thankful that its not my job.
I want a president to just do his job. You and I don't have a choice to not follow the rules of our jobs.
It should be no different as the Commander-in-Chief.
As a side note, I don't recall a presidential race excluding a running-mate, this far into the year.. am I mistaken?
I have always felt that "the end of the cold war" was a nasty trick that was being played on us, as people.
I always felt that disarming, in agreement with a clear enemy, was detrimental to our lives, as Americans.
I was worried when Putin was in bed with Ahmadinejad.
I was convinced when Putin made himself the President of the President.
I can't even talk about how I feel about Russia and Poland right now.
But, I love Glenn.. and I'm sharing this with you because I'm so touched.
IT IS going to be about oil.. what is coming in our future.. but it has less to do with us, than it does with some obvious nastiness brewing on foreign soil.
All I ever wanted from Iran was them to stop the lies. You can't contradict yourself and think we aren't paying attention.
The bear, in his den, is stirring.

The 21st Century Photography Meet-up Group had a fantastic meet-up, again, last night.
Liz taught me how to do this!!!!!! That's my keychain baseball. Isn't it appropriate that its dirty? That's my excuse. *giggle*
I was thrilled to hear her say, "I have that camera, too." I had hope that she could show me what I could do with it.
Right after that, Chuck took this photo of us: (Chuck was the first local to comment in this blog, by the way. Thanks Chuck!)
Learning Macro, on the S5 was as easy as mentioning that I really wanted to learn how to do it. It was the reason that I specifically wanted this camera. In two minutes, she showed me the quick little button on the left side.
Who knew?
Thanks Liz!!
I was able to take this photo of our Low Country Boil, tonight. We overcooked the potatoes and I liked it better this way.
As if I think he'll read this, ha ha, I'm publicly putting James out. James you are MIA from meet-ups and "if I can be there, YOU can be there!" *smile* He said that to me, once. Should I send him an email of a photo of a mirror? *wink*
